  Sophie Ann Okonski Mushinski, 88, was born on March 9, 1933 in Bremond, Texas and passed away January 5, 2022. Sophie was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her faith was important to her and she was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Conroe, Texas. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, feeding the birds, and spending time with her family most of all. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, AJ Mushinski; her parents, Bruno Okonski and Victoria Nowak Okonski; brothers, Bob and Jim Okonski. She is survived by her sons, Thomas Mushinski and partner Emily Wilkins, and Richard Mushinski and wife Marcia; grandsons, Michael Mushinski, Alan Mushinski and wife Jennifer, and Donald Wilkins; granddaughters, Aubrey Ann Mushinski and Kelsie Wilkins; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Hannah, Kaitlyn, and Ann-Marie; numerous nieces and nephews. She loved all of her family and friends dearly. Her kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who loved her. A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5-7 PM with a rosary service from 7-8 PM at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10 AM at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. [1]
