    12, 2014, at home after a six-year battle with cancer.

    She was born June 30, 1939, to John and Helen Allar at Spooner. She married Connley Hanson on Dec. 31, 1970.

    Midge operated a day care center at her home in Dallas before working at and retiring from the Turkey Store in Barron. She worked there 18 years, retiring in 2002.

    Midge had a great passion for gardening, flowers and her family. She also loved going to the casino.

    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children Debra (Mark) Weaver of Pennsylvania, Kevin (Trinity) Hanson of Virginia and Terri (Bryan) Glaser of Wisconsin; grandchildren Karen, Brian, Katie, Anders, Amber and Tyler; great-grandchildren Tayden, Masen, Gaven and Brian Jr.; brothers Larry (Betty) Allar, Jerry (Linda) Allar and Bing (Wendy) Allar; and sisters Phylis Langland, Barb Hess and Bev (Norman) Lester.

    Midge was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Grant Allar, a sister-in-law Theo Allar and brothers-in-law Virgil Hess and Harry Langland.

    A private gathering to share memories was held at the Hanson home.

    Interment will be held at a later date, attended by family.
