    Florence E Bailey, 88, of West Chester, PA, died Thursday, May 2, 2002, at the Chester County Hospital, West Chester, of natural causes.
    She was a practical nurse for the Hickman Retirement Home. She was a member the Quakers,loved to travel, participated in fundraisers for the Hickman Retirement Home, And was dedicated to the patients there.
    She was preceeded in death by three brothers, Lester, Lloyd, and Jesse Bailey.
    Surviving are her sister, Elizabeth Bartram of Lower Gwynedd; her sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Bailey of Lower Gwynedd; several neices and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
    Internment will be at the Stillwater Friends Meeting, Barnesville.
    Memorial contributions may be made to Olney Friends School, 61830 Sandy Ridge Road, Barnesville, Ohio, 43713, or to the Hickman Retirement Home, 400 N Walnut Street, West Chester, PA, 19380.

    Funeral services were held Wednesday, Apr. 6 at 8 p.m., at the Cedarburg funeral home for Jesse Bailey, 63, who died of a heart attack Apr. 2 in Sun City, Ariz.

    The Rev. Myron Talcott officiated at the ceremony. Burial was in Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg.

    Visitation was held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

    He was born Mar. 23, 1925 in Barnesville, Ohio to Jesse Bailey Sr. and Lydia Hoge Bailey. He and Mary Hampton were married Sept. 8, 1946 in Iowa.

    Dr. Bailey was president of Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic, a member of the American Wisconsin Veterinary Medicine Association and the Ozaukee-Washington Veterinary Association. He was also a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners.

    He is survived by his wife, Mary, a daughter, Linda Clifford, Grafton, and two sons, Paul of West Allis and Jay of Kiel. He is also survived by four grandchildren, a brother and two sisters.

    Jesse married Mary E. Hampton on 9 Sep 1946 in Springville, Linn County, Iowa, USA. Mary was born on 12 Aug 1925 in Springville, Linn County, Iowa, USA; died on 25 Jan 2004 in Mequon, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA; was buried in Cedarburg, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, USA, Zur Ruhe Cemetery.     Mr. Bailey was born on Nov. 17, 1952, in Milwaukee, son of Dr. Jesse and Mary (nee Hampton) Bailey.
    He worked as a security guard.

    Survivors include his mother Mary Bailey, Cedarburg; brother Jay (Nancy) Bailey, Keil, sister Linda (John) Clifford, Grafton; nephews Calvin Bailey, Keil, Eric Bailey, Keil, Matt Clifford, Grafton; niece Cory Clifford, Grafton; other relatives and friends.

    He preceded her in death by his father, Jesse Bailey.
